Claire Hatton

Claire Hatton is a freelance American Sign Language interpreter and transliterator working in the Washington, D.C. Metro area. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Signed Language Interpreting and a Certificate of Deaf Studies. As an interpreter, Claire specializes in government, K-12, post-secondary, business, and event settings, and takes great interest in interpreting for performing arts, as well as interpreting for the deaf-blind.

 

Claire is motivated and passionate and her strong interpersonal skills, English/American Sign Language aptitude, comfort in a variety of environments, and dedication to the profession of interpreting make her an effective and successful interpreter.
